Project Description:

WBTA won First prize in a design competition for this 320-room Meridien Hotel. Completed in 1987, the Hotel’s main interior feature is a centrally located, grand spiral staircase. The stair originates on the lower level over a decorative pool. It gracefully ascends through the Main lobby and the Ballroom/Preassembly. It culminates at the top of an Atrium where people can step outside to an elevated pool deck.
